The LGBTQ+ Research Network was formed in 2023 and was borne from a desire for LGBTQ+ researchers and academics, or those researching LGBTQ+ communities, to find support, connection, and community.

The group meets every half-term to share current ideas, thinking and research, and is a relaxed and informal way to get to know other researchers.

The group have also written a book called 'The Guide to LGBTQ+ research' which is due for release in January 2025.
